La Margherita is a friendly family run Italian restaurant in the centre of Cambridge. We offer good quality food using traditional recipes with a modern twist.
Our Pizza dough is made every morning on the premises and all our sauces, stocks and soups are prepared from scratch. The beauty of that is we can alter almost all our dishes, because our food really is freshly cooked.
Everything is freshly cooked so if you have any specific requirements just ask. We will always do our best to adjust dishes to your taste.
We also cater for weddings and parties and have a function room upstairs. Please give us a call or email us with your requirements.
Function room
We have 3 rooms available for functions.
The main dining room downstairs can seat up to 40 people.
Upstairs we have 2 rooms that each seat up to 28 people.
The building dates back to the 17th Century and there are
original beams and features in the rooms.
The space is very versatile and we can lay the room
banqueting style or with individual tables.

Our ice cream comes from the award winning Marine Ices in London. We have a large selection of 24 flavours and are proud of our extensive dessert list, believed to be the biggest in Cambridge.
Jean-Louis’ Tiramisu is reported by many to be the best in England!
